About Us
RE_CONSIDERED is an upcycling design house dedicated to repurposing clothing and textile waste. Since 2020, RE_CONSIDRED has reworked thousands of clothing items, and is proud to be part of the slow fashion and design movement.
The goal of RE_CONSIDERED is to help tackle the fashion waste crisis of the 21st century by creating unique, durable and one-of-kind products that people love and can cherish for a lifetime.
The Family Behind Fabreco®
Designer and founder of RE_CONSIDERED, Tabby, partnered with her dad, Humphrey, an expert in composite materials, to develop our innovate material Fabreco®.
Over 3 years running an upcycling brand and service, Tabby accumulated huge amounts of fabrics and offcuts that couldn't be used in making new clothes.
Humphrey has worked in composite materials for over 25 years, in industries from aerospace to biomaterials.
Together, they developed Fabreco®, a solid material with a marble-like appearance which has been used to make bespoke jewellery, homeware, and furniture. The pair work in a small studio in Wiltshire, turning waste into pieces designed to last and carry the stories of past lives.
