At RE_CONSIDERED, we’re always excited to see our sustainable material, Fabreco, take on new forms in creative hands. This time, we’re thrilled to share that Phineas Harper used Fabreco to create 2 of their kinetic mobiles now on display in TOAST shops as part of their Spring Summer 2025 collection, A Lightness of Being.
A Meeting of Material and Movement
Phineas Harper is a London-based creative with a background in architecture, writing, and curation. Their work often explores the connections between space, form, and narrative—an approach that shines through in their delicate mobiles. Inspired by balance, weightlessness, and organic movement, these kinetic sculptures capture the spirit of A Lightness of Being, a collection that embraces mindful design and thoughtful materiality.
Fabreco, our innovative material made from repurposed textile waste, found its place within a couple of these mobiles, adding a layer of sustainability to the artistry. By integrating Fabreco’s unique texture and story into the sculptures, Phineas highlights the beauty that can emerge from discarded materials.
